OME-BP-51 Suspension lift completed, Rebound and Compression settings input?

    Off Road Package, 3" OME BP-51 Suspension Lift w/ OME upper control arms, OME 889 rear coils, Method MR315 17x8.5, Falken Wildpeak AT3W 285's
    Just finished having the OME bp-51 3" lift installed with new uppercontrol arms and rear coils alond with wheels and 285's....

    I'm working on dialing the Rebound and COmpression settings to my preferred settings, wondering if anyone is running this suspension and has any input from their experiences?

    Also, thinking of having the driver's side shimmed up to correct the 1/2" lean,,,wondering if its really necessary or if im just being OCD, also anyone installed shims themselves?

    I didn’t shim my truck I have about a 1/4 inch lean when or if I take out the suspension again you adjust the preload a few millimeters
    I think suspension feel is up to you I started at zero and went up I’m now running 4/3 all the way around
    Weight and tire choice will dictate your ride preferences
    My truck also has adjustable sway bar links and I now have an extremely tight ride and handling

    make sure your cv angle is straight you may need diff drop otherwise you will damage cv

    Aren't the BP-51 height-adjustable? Instead of adding a shim, simply raise the drivers side a bit with the adjustable collar.

    Hope you don't have any rubbing.. but your experience might change if you start flexing a little. Off-camber turns are the worst, especially in reverse.

    Definitely look into a differential drop, IMO.

    Thanks! I have found an angle in reverse where I have some rubbing, I will ultimately have to to a slight BMC because of where it rubs. I assume there will be more when I finally get it out in some rocks etc. We've had too much snow to really test it out since I had it installed, FOrgot to mention I have the diff drop installed already

    ALso, thanks for the idea on adjusting the height with the collar..so obvious I hadn't considered it...i can be slow lol

    @TST85 - Looks great. I'm in MA. Just picked up my 21 Off Road Premium - and starting to look at lifts as the factory suspension is too floaty for me. Where did you get this done? Care to share pricing? Overall experience so far? I was hoping to install something turn key w/no need for diff drops, etc. But probably inevitible. TIA! Pic for attention! :)

    Curious if anyone with the 4Runner BP-51 suspension has had any popping / dead strut noises like the TRD Pro FOX setups? I was reading about this issue with both the BP-51 (for other vehicles) and FOX internal bypass designs.

    I do on any temp under 30 but goes away the more I drive it’s not too pronounced I deal with it because the BP51 is phenomenal but I think my preload is a touch off

    I also added the Old man thing (BP 51) just yesterday......I went from stock to this OME - definitely a big difference from stock. I noticed a little vibration on the power steering around 40 to 50mph. The shop tells me they did a decent alignment - but I am not sure, maybe I need to break this in for a few days and see if everything settles.
