It took a while to get here, but I FINALLY picked up my 21 TRD Pro a couple of days ago! I traded out of a 19 Tacoma TRD Pro, and the difference is like night and day. More power (the Taco's 3.5L and auto transmission are just depressing), better drive, more comfortable, so much more space inside (especially the back seat)... I haven't found anything not to like about my new ride!

I went with the TRD because I'm no weekend mechanic and wanted something that I didn't have to do a lot of mods on. The biggest thing I need to now is add sliders -- I passed on the Predator steps because, honestly, they were kind of useless on the Taco. So here's the question:

I'm looking at the RSG Metalworks angled sliders... Anybody have experience with these? Are they worth the money? How was the install?

Congrats! Funny you ask. I’m thinking of giving my son the Predator steps for our 2011 LC and looking into the exact same steps you mention. 99AB53AB-58E0-4DFB-8E71-0E293A49A248.jpg

Welcome to the forum, i have the RSG angled sliders on my 17 SR5 and highly recommend them. I installed them by myself with no problems whatsoever. Very well made product.

Thanks for this! I've been shopping around and looking at several, but RSG just seems like a better product.

Thanks! I didn't get to choose the color (Toyota did that for me, lol), but I'm really happy with it. I've never owned a white vehicle before, but I think it looks really nice on the 4R.

Welcome. RSG slider install couldn't be easier - hold 'em up, bolt 'em on, pretty much.

Thanks! After studying the RSG sliders (obsessively) for a couple of days, I decided to go ahead and put my order in. And now I wait... :annoyed:

Having personally installed and used a good bit of sliders, I gotta say the RSG are freaking beefy.

You won't be disappointed, I assure you. My installation was a bit more involved due to the KDSS, but on a Pro, it'll be a snap.
