New build

David from Toytec back again! But with a new vehicle!!

Sold the 3rd gen to a friend of mine that is going to continue forward with the build process.
I found the 3rd gen was a little to small for me (6 ft 4).


"Upgraded" to a 4th gen 4Runner V6 SR5.

Build process;


2005 4Runner purchased with 280k miles - runs amazing

Love the build. Your pictures have helped me pull the trigger on ordering the Lil B's Fabrication bumper. You had the bumper on when you had the Falken Wildpeak in a 285/70/17. Would you happen to have more pictures of the vehicle from that time when you had that combo installed? I'd love to see those pics if you've got them. Also, I'd like to install 4 pods on the bumper. Do you think there is a solid place to mount a pair of KC Cyclones (one on each side) with those 4 pod spaces installed? My goal is to have 4 pods and turn signals. Thanks for your time!

Great build! What kind of rims are you running and did you buy them with an offset? I'm having trouble understanding what I should be doing to mine to prevent the rubbing against my stock UCA's. Currently I have a 2" bilstein lift front to back and wildpeak 275/70r17's.

DAMN your rig is looking sick as hell. Its making me want a 4th GEN now.

 

Dig your build! Think you could lend any background reasoning you might have on why you chose TC LCAs instead of say Dirt King or Camburgs? Really debating between those big 3 myself.

 

Honestly. With me seeing how TC is made, the masterminds behind it, they are all great friends, and for durability aspects along with articulation aspects, it was a no brainer for me personally.

Some people may say, "X" is better but I have zero issues with mine, and they get beaten up very well lol

 

Went up to MSV this past weekend! - got a little hariy in a spot- ripped out my valve stem - Quick trail fix - Slammed a stick in valve stem- Swelled it with water - Held for the next 2 miles or so until I was able to get to a flat spot for a quick spare tire swap

 

Hey man, for your rear suspension setup did you do the 2.0 or 2.5 toytec rear shocks? and do you have the regular superflex coils in the rear or the heavy duty ones? really like how your rig sits dude!

 

Yooo! 2.0 rear shocks along with 2.0 Non HD rear springs- Just the standard duty rear superflex coil springs

Not much has changed in the past couple of years. I did end up selling the 4Runner but then shortly bought it back after realizing the mistake I made lol

After purchasing it back I hit the ground running again - New tires- Cooper STT PROs 315/75/16s

Auxbeam 8Gang switch system

2X Baja Designs LP6 lights!

 

New wheels added!

 

35’s looking downright BEEFY on the 4th gen. Nice!

 

Curious if you have regeared for the larger tires at all.
