Clunk. Very light. I’m pretty sure it’s front driver side. Even with the washers icon supplied with sway bar relocation kit the sway bar is pretty damn close to that “suspension brace” or bracket deal. I’m suspecting it may be making very slight contact.

So I’ll contribute, today I gave my buddy a ride in my runner on my job site and now he wants his 19’ runner done similar. Told him “Welcome to a financial rabbit hole!

This response was to my question about "is there a switch to turn all interior lights on."
Not sure where "anytime backup camera" was in question.

"What did your 4runner do for you today..."
Well, you never drive with an empty trailer so I loaded a few hundred pounds of salt onto the back of the trailer.
Then a 150 mile round trip (felt great getting out during covid) to get Excursion wheels for my delaminated chrome ones on my F-250. Got 4 factory wheels for $150. They are rough but I have a plan...
Then got 4 free 285/75-16 Duratracs (my buddy wanted something new) & gave me his old ones!
Anyway, the 4Runner (with a 16' trailer going north) needed 4s the entire time. I know the sound of a torque converter hunting & it was till 4s! Drove great @ 65mph & 14.6mph...
Another post to come about the wheel restoration. I may just plastidip them. I just need a wheel that isn't falling apart!
I always forget about a loaded picture but this is what else I had.
    Sorry,
    Ryan.

I appreciate your concern but I have been towing for years. As I didn't want to pull out equipment to properly get a "perfect" tongue weight I threw a few hundred pounds (on a 16" trailer) in the rear. It didn't even ride funny. If it had; believe my wife would have told me.
I don't know if this is serious or jest but I will say this; I will never drive an unsafe vehicle.
    Ryan

Not written in jest, just out of genuine concern. Seen too many people with improperly loaded trailers have really bad days.

I was about to say... you were in the longest downhill descent in America where you maintain safe speed with the car in neutral. Then get the car towed to the top again to keep doing that for all those miles.

If you are asking for clarification.
I had half of a 20 gallon trash can with road salt in it. It was strapped to the rear of the trailer as the tires were going up front.
I then put 4 wheels with tires 2x in each front corner. We then drove another 20 miles to add the Duratracs to the front also.
In all actuality I was probably tongue heavy but it was all 60mph & under. We were in no hurry & it rode great.
    Ryan.

Well, you’re correct and I thought using the dial would turn them all on…that freaking sucks; that’s how most manufacturers controls this… kind of aggravating… I do know that the switch between the overhead map lights control the lights come on/off when a door is open. I wonder if this can be adjusted in computer settings.?

I looked at other options for mounting the control module under the hood and ultimately went with the SDHQ engine bay mount.

Took my Predator steps off my 5th gen and bolted them on my GX. Now the 5th gen needs a thorough detail and I’ll list it for sale.
