Fully Rebuilt Engine Swapped onto 35's KM3's Brother did majority of work on it as I was 15
    Hey y'all,

So I've only ever owned 4Runners. My first one (SILVER) was one my brother and I looked t in a man's yard and we talked to him and he was not wanting to let it go but fast forward 3 weeks on my 16th birthday the same Runner is sitting in my driveway. School ends and that whole summer me and him, my brother, just go to town and decide to rebuild the engine, new timing cover, new water pump, a full clean and fix. I still cant tell you most the process cause I'm barely 16 then and my amazing brother did most of the work and then end if summer it's not ready but aye we have a spare 3rd gen so anyways months go and we finish and I flip it 5 months in..... So then I have to wait and get some help from my brother again to find my dream car and then I find the love of my life 2.0. I get the Navy Runner and luckily that engine we just rebuilt was completely fine just some minor things so just swapped em and did a few more things added the cold air intake. And non of this would've been possible without my brother but now I'm 20 and am excited to go through it by myself and have an occasional phone call consult.

Geez. When you said flipped it I thought you were talking about a profit, not 4 wheels up. Hope everyone involved was OK.

Yeah it was just me and I was tired from a long day at work and dropped my vape (so dumb now looking back) reached to the passenger floor ans accidentally pulled the wheel and ramped off some parked cars.... definitely a sucky night. The only injuries I got ws a couple scraps on my left hand. God is good

Glad to hear your injuries were minimal and that hindsight taught you a lesson. I am sure that was a financial field day with insurance. All that to say, pockets and pride might hurt, but you have your life and that is invaluable.
