Ready for dual case. The new budbuilt looks empty with only a single.

It has been skid plate season.

New victory4x4 front skid on the 4Runner is just the right fit with treaty oak offroad kdss spacers to level things out better.

Two things I don’t care for about the design are all about how it mounts.

    1. The front two bolts mount through the radiator support. Why? There are welded nuts from the factory for skid plate bolts. Seems like an unnecessary pain in the ass to have a through bolt with nut on top.
    2. The oil filter access panel. This is a similar pain in the ass because it’s button head bolts with nut on the back. It would be amazing for this access panel to have the nuts welded to the back so a person doesn’t have to be a contortionist to hold the nuts behind the skid to attach the access panel.

There may be specific reasons behind those two designs features??

Overall very nice product and it’s exactly what I wanted for my application.

Tundra joined the family this week. My household is 100% Toyota now.

The 88 has been sold back in January to make room for an 80 series.
