If that was meant for me I appreciate it but mines a '19 and I've checked the manuals I got with the truck and even stopped by the local Toyota dealer (Hazelwood) and asked at both the parts counter and the service desk...Blanks stares and 2 "I don't know"s later I left...

That was meant for you. I tried to help but had a brain fart in the process. Sorry about that.

Toyota uses screen not filters get clogged and remove stop up forcing you to drop pan. If it's aftermarket well don't Chevrolet or Ford people work on it. They don't understand million mile technology and not buying parts. The pressure to 4 and 5th filter may restrict . They are bands and are most likely to go because clutches. May restrict pressure to torque converter lock up and it won't let it shift to protect bands. I would assume more pressure to pull in 5th at 40-45 mph because they off lock up. Try in manual 4 and stay in 3rd to see if you have those. It will probably protect itself if it doesn't have pressure by not letting it shift to bands in third and it's out of lock up. If you are going to do it use Toyota parts for proper service and don't over maintain it. Maintain how you drive. I saved my liquid grit for bit I f you need some bite. I thought about a table spoon of polished nano sand but I never have that luck.

Owners manual and what is it related to or intergrated with. I am going to use a 3000 CFM electric fan on with about a 15-18 amp. I thought I would wire into the sunroof 25 since it doesn't really work at same time. I use an Optima gel yellow deep cycle battery. A deep cycle was $10-20 more and then don't leak. I want to put a manual switch to bypass thermostat but I don't know best way that to cab is. I'm going to try from the engine fuse block then look or drill, seal and grommet fuse on firewall.

A 3000 cfm electric fan should not have to run long anyway.

I was going to ask about that. I expect it would be pretty loud.

Not really. My 97 has a twin fan kit. This fan from Flex a lite is for 2nd Gen I believe. The important thing is the shroud to trap and focus air for around the. You can buy separate fans motors to repair them. I have used and trust
Them, just use large wire. I measured mine and it looks like it will fit.just right with the brackets . I got thermostat control and toggle switch to. I have used 1800-2000 CFM. Factory has 1700 CFM with fan. The sunroof is 25 amp without a load load on it with virtually. Mine has JBL sound system in it which really limit your options, but 15 speakers and subwoofer is sweet. However I don't know where all the fuses are now. I still have thermostat control and after shut off it cools to set temp and off. I drove 50 miles home from work and I never had problems and if you were at light to long or to close behind a car I trust Optima and never ever had any problems. You don't need fan at hwy speed it will run normal at speedy. I'm sure the power is hidden in computer. They told us when first Tundra 4 door not to change but one owner not to usecame in to not trade a double cab computer in a extended cab because of it having 70 more hp than extended. You can put first generation rotors, calipers and hangers to help a 3rd generation with under designed brakes. I never replaced brake shoes either.
    . Anyway the ,do
