I'm a new member. My 2016 SR5 is my retirement vehicle. I worked for Ford for many years and will always remember driving a Chevy Blazer, Ford Explorer and 4-Runner after they completed 150,000 miles of brutal durability testing. The 4-Runner felt great and ran like new. I'm a canoe enthusiast and the 4-Runner is a great canoe vehicle with strong roof rails and a long front to rear span. My vehicle is stock except for wetokole seat covers to protect it from the dog. Happy new year and best wishes to all.

Thanks for all the kind words. Front and rear tie-downs are wise but going to my nearby local spot just the Thule load stops plus one strap is plenty since I'm going about 5 mph through a farm. Here's a more recent pic with less green stuff.
