    Hello everyone,
I'll apologize for my ignorance on these subjects ahead of time as this is the first off road vehicle I have owned.

I wanted some suggestions regarding my first modification for my 4runner, consisting of wheels/tires/small lift.

It is a black 2015 Toyota 4runner Trail with KDSS.

I really like the look of certain wheels made by Fuel such as the Assault, Hostage, and vapor one piece models, but was wondering if anybody has had performance issues with the brand? Also I don't want to go over 18" with the wheels, any feedback regarding 17x8.5, 17x9, and 18x9 selections would be much appreciated.

My second choice for rims would be the TRD 17" model found on new TRD 4runners. I haven't heard of any reliability issues with these and they cost significantly less than the Fuel models I was interested in.

As far as tires go I am absolutely clueless, but want something with an obvious larger tread for an increase in off road performance. Once again feedback would be appreciated.

Regarding lift size, I would assume that it would be proportional to size of tire/wheels or clearance issues with those items. I do not want to go over 3" or have to mess with swing arms, etc.

I imagine this post was pretty noobtastic, but I appreciate any and all advice. I hope somebody gets a LOL or two from it, thanks.

    David
