Question for you guys running JBA UCA’s. JBA recommended using Mobilux EP 2 Moly grease. I found the Mobilux EP 2 but does not contain Moly. Anyone using anything different? Can any EP 2 with Moly work? Thanks!

Most companies recommend silicone lube on polyurethane bushings.

JBA is one of the few that doesn't.

I personally think silicone lube is better for these bushings because it's thick and tacky, which makes it hard to come off......lasting longer with fewer squeaks.

If you want to strictly stick with JBA's rec, I would get the one with Moly.

Right on, thanks. I can’t seem to find that exact one that JBA is recommending but found others with the same formula/ numbers. What Silicone lube would you recommend?

I realize this thread is getting old but, the sheet that JBA sent me said to use Mobilgrease XHP 222 Special grease OR equivalent, it is a grease that is intended for severe operating conditions. I had poly bushing before and the grease I used then was the same grease we used on the farm.... apparently not the right formula, as the bushings started squeaking. I bought a case of the Mobilgrease XHP 222 Special, we'll see how it goes. But I was told a silicone based grease was good for poly bushings, due to it's high resistance to 'wash off' from water. A moly/lithium complex grease comes in many formulations, high temp. operation is also another consideration for good proprietary grease adhesion to parts. Hope it helps... I always put way too much research into things like this! (over thinking it's called)
