Valving makes a huge difference......even in the same shock.

Take two of the same shocks and valve them differently and they ride differently.

Anyone use this set up for a lift ? E80-82-071-01-22 - Eibach Pro Truck Lift System (Stage 1) and what size tire on stock rims would not rub ?
    • Kit provides lift: +2.75 in (Front) | +1.0 in (Rear)

That's what I have on mine. I bought mine from Tire Rack last year.

This place has it listed for $609.87 w/ free shipping.

The ride is fantastic better than stock in my non-KDSS Off Road.

I'm still on stock size Falken Wildpeaks but will be going up to a 33 inch tire (285/70R17 or 255/80R17) early 2021.
I already have a set of SPC UCA's that will push the taller tires forward.

What model 4 Runner do you have ? I have a 2018 premium. Do you think the Eibach set up and 275s would work on mine?

    Should work just fine.

I have a Non-KDSS 2019 Off Road as noted on my signature in every post in this thread.

I bought my kit from Tire Rack last year. It took a couple weeks to get to me.
They told me similar type info. I ordered it at the begining of July of 2019, Tire Rack told me I wouldn't see it till the middle of August.
It got to me around the end of July. I think they all give themselves a buffer.

On the other forum. One of the reps (Mark) gave his email address.
You could ask him when he expects kits to ship to Wheeler. Also see if he still has any patches.

Edited to add: Are you having Wheelers install Top Hats? Could be added time for that.

Pre-installed top hats are nice if you are going to install the lift yourself. If not installing yourself - don't waste the $. A shop can do all that for you when they install the lift on your vehicle.

Yep...having the top hats installed out there n yes..im goin to install the kit myself (a friend is helpin also)
Other than anticipation....i can wait...hopefully it will be sooner. So far its been a pleasure workin with Wheeler...very good at replying to emails n they even sent some on there own. Itll give me a little time to think about getting new UCA (really didnt want to spend the money but i dont like doing things twice)
Found some good deals on tires at Tire Nation...but there reviews suck....any suggestion for the best prices ?...probly goin with Falkens

I use Discount Tire and pay for the insurance. I had 1 - Falken Wildpeak AT3W 265/70R17 (SL load) tire replaced using that insurance. Got some pretty good sidewall cuts.

I'm about ready to go to 285/70 or 255/80 (33 inch tires) and won't be using Falkens for that size. Whereas Falkens in the stock size are pretty light weight compared to the competition. In the taller sizes / heavier plies (C/E) - Falkens are too heavy, in my opinion, vs the competition.

I already have a set of SPC UCA's sitting here at the house.

I have a road trip to Florida planned for January - then will go up sizes in February.

    Just dropping this in here:

My 1st mods other than stock size Falken Wildpeak AT3W SL's were a TRD skid plate, Warn Winch, and Warn Bumper to my non-KDSS Off Road.
My Eibach Pro Truck Lift was installed on the lowest clip setting back in July of 2019.

    Home from the dealer:

200lbs of Warn winch with steel cable and Warn Bumper - note the sag.

Eibach Pro Truck Lift installed on lowest clip.

How it sits 1 year and 5 months later with the addition of HEAVY Shrockworks steel armor (sliders and skids).

The ride is fantastic on and off road.

I’ve never heard anything bad about rough country. Matter fact I am installing the 2 inch space lift from rough country on my 2013 limited 4Runner probably next week. I am also gonna put some 285’s on mayhem 17x9 rims. I’ll let you know how it goes if you would like.

Absolutely! You might want to check Bilstein's website in case there is a different part number for KDSS equipped 4runners. I don't think there would be, though, as the 6112's are the same for KDSS and non-KDSS.

I have no idea, really. I was lucky enough to have some great friends help me with the install.

I would bet an experienced tech should be able to swap in 5100's and a set of rear coils in a few hours. You probably have to call around for estimates.

I believe some of our members here have had their installations performed at shops. Hopefully someone can chime in with their experience.

Lift looks great with that added weight, @DRobs ! I feel like Eibach must have designed the kit with the thought in mind that many guys that lift their 4Runner also add a winch (either that or they wanted to cater to the Cali Lean crowd). IMO the rake is off with the Eibach kit unless any weight is added to the front. If I had a winch/bumper, I'd be all over that kit!

The Eibach kit levels the wheel wells which is not for everyone...... and that's fine.

But you don't have to buy the entire kit if you're not happy with the stance.

It's pretty easy to buy the front Eibach coils/stuts and a different/taller rear coil.

Or just buy the front Eibach struts and a smaller front coil.
