Thanks Mike, good point about stressing the suspension when operating the winch...I'd not thought of that.
Pictures. Yes. I'm all about pictures-

MPGs. I came from a 4 door Sonic getting 36+mpg's....so yes a rude awakening on that LOL!
No plans of abuse/no trails. I've just got some serious roads and a long driveway blessed with snow and ice 3+ months of the year....and we get lots
of tree falls all year. So I'm thinking the winch might help me get out of a ditch or pull a tree out of the way.
    I readily admit I've never even operated a winch....well I've used a come-along quite a few times.

Thanks again for the image/lesson. I'll check it out in the daylight tomorrow.
This is the kit I feel the dealer used-

I do love the height and stance and I've already put on KO2 275/65 17. I could have gone bigger I think but to my eye they look good and we've used
KO2's in the past and like them. Next week we're adding Cooper Snow Claws (with studs installed) 265/70 17. Me thinking (again rudimentary knowledge
at my level) that studs might prevent the pull out of the ditch.

Ok that is a lift at the spring tops this will not work with the standard suspension for the items you want to add you would need to upgrade to at least a bilstein 6112 suspension this wil retain a close to stock ride you have now but will handle the extra weight
And secondly “boom” I think my aluminum blitz is a sensible alternative for the non hardcore like yourself my truck is a daily family car that we take off-road to escape the city but still use it go out to a family dinner without looking like I just shot my dinner and it’s on my hood waiting to be skinned lol

Nothing wrong with buying aluminum. My point is...the off-roading you're doing could probably be done without any aftermarket bumper. You bought it cause you think it looks cool and beefy without having the consequences of being beefy and thats ok
