    Rear coils under the pro are the same as any other model. Rear height is also the same. Front is 3/4”-1” higher and of course all shocks and front springs are Pro specific.

    265/70/17 is stock size. You can absolutely run them under any model 4Runner. 1” front only levels it out.

    Sure, but all you'd need to do is raise the front ever so slightly.

    Whatever is said about the Pro suspension, I feel the ride is great, but stiffer and it doesn't budge as much under some weight (people) as the ORP I had the chance of testing. Might just be that it has a lot less miles on it (just over 2000 now after two weeks).

    Overall, I'm not going to touch the suspension for the time being unless I actually see a definitive need due to added weight or such. If I touch it, I will NOT go with spacers, but rather a full setup dialed in for the weight and use. Buy once, cry once. But for now the suspension is more than adequate for what I'm doing. If I were to lift the truck, it'll be to lift in the same proportion it sits today, adjusted for any additional weight of course, so equal amounts front and rear, which means for an ORP you'd need about one inch more in the front.

    Regarding wheels and tires, I see absolutely no reason to get any taller or wider tire. This tire size will do everything I want it to, since rock crawling with large steps just isn't something I'm planning on. And if I'm ever confronted with a situation like that, I'll just start stacking rocks or use Maxtrax boards or whatever other options I have at my disposal. Even a route change is perfectly fine for me. If I wanted a rock crawler, I'd have started out from a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, not from a 4Runner. This thing is supposed to be an "off road tourer", not more and not less.

    Duly noted. I had not considered this. A lift kit to simply do that should not be too pricey it’s looking like...

    @Michael8282 – It's really all about personal needs, desires, taste etc. I think my 4Runner looks good enough as it is, it's not a beauty to me and never will be, it's an utilitarian truck. Right now I have no need to lift or level based on looks or even for ground clearance. The ground clearance was good enough on a trail I consider about as hard and rocky as I'd want to do when on my own, and since I have come to a point in my life where I mostly dislike prolonged company from people other than my lovely wife (due to being forced to interact continuously at work, I just need a break from that), I'm going to stay on easy trails, forest roads, etc.

    What all that means is: based on what I need, the truck is pretty good as is, as long as I don't overdo it with regards to weight with gear I stuff in or bolt on. Everything I've done, ordered, considered, etc. has had a weight vs. value consideration. The two items that will add considerable weight are the tent and the rock sliders, both of which have specific purpose and will hopefully proof their value over time. The weight consideration was always part of the decision to avoid having to mess with a great OEM suspension setup. And I have a ton of stuff on order or planned ... ;-)

    Now, over time, I predict that I will make changes in either gear or routes that will make me reconsider the suspension, but before I do that I want to know as well as possible what weight this suspension needs to support, otherwise I'm paying twice (or more). Examples for other possibly heavy items are: drawer system in the back, a fridge, dual battery setup, recovery gear, etc.

    So, think about what you plan to do at least mid-term with your 4Runner before you change your suspension. If it's a simple spacer or leveling kit, by all means, it's cheap enough to re-do when necessary, but all else I'd stay away from until you have planned out your vehicle and use as much as possible. And then add the other items first, go with the then overweight, lopsided, non-leveled truck to a good (!!) suspension shop and have them figure out how to deal with the situation.

    Oh I just meant in order to lift the front up 1” in order to accommodate different wheels/tires is all. I suppose I used to wrong terminology by saying lift kit. Again, I am a noob and learning here.

    The thing is: I'm using stock tire sizes. 265/70-17 is stock size. A 275/70 will probably fit, a 285/70 already needs modifications. Which these are, I have no idea.

    Most local dealers will price match internet prices. Just go to the parts department, show them the online price on your phone, and they’ll likely match it. It helps if it’s a legit Toyota online vendor (like Camelback or Olathe Toyota or any of the other big names; rather than “speedywheels dot com”).

    I'm happy I added the Eibach Pro springs and went with the 285's. To me, its the perfect setup for daily driving.

    I see no point downgrading to a 7" wide TRD PRO wheel from a 7.5" wide TRD Offroad wheel. Especially if you plan to get bigger tires like 285/70R17s. Many tire manufactures require minimum width of 7.5inches for 285s.

    Yes I see some people use TRD Pro wheels with 285s but I don't know they did it without reading the tire specs or like to take risk for the looks as TRD PRO wheels look good.

    Michael, in order to run the setup that cug has, you do not need to modify anything. You can run his exact tires and wheels on your stock '21 ORP, because they're basically just the same wheels and tires that you already have. You have ample room for the TRD Pro setup even with any "lesser" 4Runner to run the TRD Pro wheels and tires. You do not need to raise the front 1" to fit the wheels/tires. He could actually lower his front 1" (to be where you are at) and he would be fine, too.

    I love our TRD PRO wheels. Happy that I sold the TRD OR wheels and tires. No negatives. The E Rated KO2's survive pounding over sharp lava without structural failures.

    $800 seems to be about the going rate for the OR wheels. Maybe $600 on the low side. But for $600, that’s a heck of a deal for a really good set of wheels.

    So it turns out.........I actually really like the wheels it comes with lol. Looks great on the midnight metallic black and the TRD off-road badge being white. May do it one day for all I know, but I like the chrome wheels it comes with.
