Today I took my front dobinsons off, pulled my springs off and was going to paint the springs, other than black. I didn't, instead I reassembled them and put them back on, and on the drivers side, since it was a little lower, the lean, as is said...I made 2 half millimeter plastic shims, total of 1 mm thick. The spacer is basically identical to what one would if it was purchased, just thinner. It won't squish, being 2 thin shims. It did help. (basically just for fun)

I'm sure this came up somewhere, but why aren't the 1/8" shims made of quality plastic or rubber instead. longevity? consistancy?

Production! We need MORE production! Good question Ken, I'm guessing it's like lots of stuff we buy now days.... if it's made too well or convieniently, we'll not have to replace it as often.... or at all. Just a thought.
