    Hello everyone!
I just made a impulse buy and picked up a 2005 with 77K on it from the original owner and my longtime neighbor! I will build this rig for my off-road adventures and hoping to learn from you all. The truck has been babied and she just completed the Timing belt change at Toyota of Berkeley.

I like to start with a lift and wheel swap and see where we go from there.
    Thanks!

You lucked out congratulations. I was searching for a long time for V8 low miles 4runner. I wanted it for more towing capacity. Too bad every manufacturer keeps making smaller engines. Best wishes and congratulations

I have been all smiles with the limited driving with the TR4. Small rattle coming from the back but something simple and I will find it. I also noticed driving tonight that the right side of the cluster is dark or burnt but other than that a nice commanding truck with guts. I love how the truck rides and don't think a lift is something I want. Rims on the horizon and tires will be changed soon (Hercules Terra Trax) not that they are old and they actually drive nice and quiet but that white lettering HERCULES makes me sick. Anyways a couple of pictures and my apologies' if I ask dumb questions. Thanks!4th Gen.jpg 4th gen1.jpg 4th runner dark.jpg

Yes nice rig--one my larger mistakes was not buying one in Toledo a few years ago with 40k miles just like yours with the V8. I had some female influence that pushed me away.
