Hello, I have a 2010 sr5 with 145k miles. I notice while maintaining a constant speed at 45mph the whole car will shake or vibrate. When I accelerate it will go away. When I’m at any other speed it will not do it.

    can any one help me?!?!?

^^ the two most likely suspects for a vibration.

I have to say, though, I looked at your post thinking 'sputter' (from your title) was an engine issue, not vibration, so it's a bit unclear what your issue is.

Try some premium gasoline 91+ octane.

Sounds like it might be holding on to a gear just a hair too long on deceleration or downshifting too quickly when getting up to speed (45mph). That can be a tricky spot for these engines as far as the throttle map goes.

I could be way off, though. But a simple thing to check or be aware of.

Might this be a maf sensor issue, fellas? Like maybe it needs a cleaning?

The reason why I say sputter and vibration is because it feels like the engine sputters in the gas pedal but the whole car vibrates except for the steering wheel. It only happens at this constant speed and no other speed. It does not happen when accelerating or decelerating. It is very odd .
