    Hi all,

Its about time Apogee Off Road makes its debut in the 4Runner forum world!

We're proud to announce the completed production 5th Gen 4Runner front bumper for all 2014 to current 4Runners!

Our bumper will fit all trim levels from SR5 to Limited to TRD Pro.

The bumper was designed around a Warn Zeon 10S winch as well as Baja Designs Squadron Pros and 20" S8 bar.

We also offer a fog light bracket to adapt your OEM fog lights in place if you prefer.

Pair it with our hawse style fairlead for a truly sinister look on your rig!

We look forward to showing more products as they develop and we'd love to hear your thoughts!

Feel free to check out or website at www.apogeeoffroad.com, and we're always here to answer questions and comments at info@apogeeoffroad.com!

    Thanks! Enjoy some photos on Alpha Equipt's rig and a customers' 2020 limited!4Runner Limited Front Photo (1 of 1).jpg 4Runner 5th Gen_Front Bumper_2.jpg 4Runner 5th Gen_Front Bumper_21.jpg 4Runner 5th Gen_Front Bumper_14.jpg

That might just be the best looking front bumper for these yet! What's up with the first pic, is that photoshopped? I notice in that pic the "gills" under the headlights seem to be gone, but in all the other pics they're still there. Or is it a filler panel you offer? Either way, I like that design, it looks so clean.

First pic is a Limited, they don’t have the fake vents under the headlights.

Looks good, especially with the Limited trim front bumper..

Any plans to offer a "bull-bar" option?

Also, what is the plastic piece, on the Limited model, that runs across the top of the bumper?

Thanks for the feedback! Although biased, we think its the cleanest bumper on the market! It weighs in at just under 100lbs. with no accessories! Hope that helps!

Yes sir! As mentioned below, that's a 2020 4Runner Limited that has a totally different front fascia. We think this is a cleaner look, but its more of a pain to install! Thanks for the kind words.

Personally I agree with the limited bumper cover. Makes it look 10X cleaner!

We definitely have a grill guard in the works. When we get more info we will keep you updated!

The plastic piece on the limited bumper is just a plastic block that was clipped into the limited front fascia, but if we removed it, it would look stupid with a big gap there.

Even still, I think it incorporates well!

    -Regards

So what's the word on the grill guard (bull bar?).

Ready to be designed! Haven't really had anyone with interest yet, so it was left on the design table.

I thought Apogee made high quality computer interface options for musical instruments (I had one years ago for practicing my electric guitar in hotels when I travelled often for work. No need to haul an amp or pedal board. Plugged straight in to the iPad.)

    Is this another division?

Regardless, I think this is the best looking option for those of us with a 2020+ that are looking for a full front bumper. I think the Victory 4x4 would work, but this just looks better in my opinion.

    All of them.
I’m interested in the grill guard option but it would have to clear my tss sensor. I’d be down for one if that can happen.

    Here's a criticism...

The front recovery points look to be too high on the bumper. They should be inline with where the bumper mounts to the frame.

Too many to list and growing.
I wonder if they are tied into the frame mounts diagonally? Good observation. That is a critical pull point.

Not trying to be a dick but, I wouldn't buy this bumper as is without seeing the underside. I've seen torqued bumpers.

    Criticism #2

Looks like the lower radiator is unprotected by this bumper. What skid plate does Apogee recommend to protect the radiator?

Hey there. We have our own 1/4" skid plate that connects the bumper to the OEM skid!

Good observation. We would be more than happy to run some stress analysis tests surrounding this "issue".

Here guys, here's a behind the scenes look. The D-Ring mounts attach the the 1/4" winch plate that welds directly to the mounting plate. We feel that this is plenty strong.4Runner Front Tie Ins.jpg

Does it come with the bumper? I don't see it listed on your website.

Currently its not listed as we've only built a first article version for that white 4Runner Limited pictured above (skid is not in the photo).

Its designed and we can make them a production part, we just haven't received any serious interest for it.

How about a "2nd article" version (and include a price for the skid plate) for my blue SR5?

Consider this "serious interest." Gotta let the CFO know how many Benjamins I need.

I also sent you an email.
