Added Black and Blue Mayhem rims so far! Soon... TRD pro roof rack and a small lift!
I bought a used 2016 White 4Runner SR5 this past summer and with the price being what it was, I am excited to make it fit my personality more!
I have installed 17” Mayhem black and blue rims and my next plans are to add a small lift (3”!?) and look into installing the TRD pro style roof rack to replace my factory silver ones. I only found out today that those can easily come off. I had no idea!! I even bought a Yakima Loadwarrior to go for that rugged off road look but now I’m addicted to the idea of replacing it all.
Anyone have suggestions for me as to who I should go through and maybe Lift suggestions too?

I live in San Antonio, Texas!

    Welcome to the forum, Sarah!

If you're doing your own lift, Marie at @HeadStrong Off-Road can probably help you out. There are some other good vendors around here as well.

Here's mine on Bilstein 6112's up front at 2.3" and 1.5" rear lift coils with 5100's.

Thanks everyone! I think I started a few convos because I was not sure how to reply but this is awesome! I am curious about the lifts still and I most likely will not do them DIY.. why have different lift sizes front to back? I just want to do it for a look and it doesn’t have to do with off-roading... my 4Runner is 2 wheel rear drive unfortunately.

You can hit the quote button at the bottom right of the post you wish to reply to.

For pure aesthetics, a spacer lift is ok. A suspension lift can provide improved handling, though.

My reason for going higher in front was that the front skid was constantly getting bashed on rocks, and seemed to be the lowest point.

Also, the 4runner comes with about 2 inches of rake (front is lower than rear), so this levels it out a little. I also used heavy springs in the rear to keep from having reverse lean while towing or hauling.
