Hello all. I joined up a bit ago but i guess i haven't posted yet so i thought i would start here. I am a moderator on TacomaWorld and Tundras. If you are on those, say hello some time. I assume that some of the guys that converted from a Tacoma to a 4runner are still hanging out on TW.

As she sits as of 7/2/15

I'm far more active on TW and T4R. I keep trying to make an effort here, but I keep forgetting to check in once in awhile.

Thank you all. I'll be around a little bit on here and add some content now and then that would be universal from the Tundra stuff.

I have been trying to talk my wife into a 4Runner for a long time now. I think she is finally convinced that she needs to go to a 4Runner. We have a 2nd kid on the way and the 4 door jeep wrangler back seats are so small. Hard to fit my 3yo in the seat as it is. Feet are touching the center console. 4Runner is much bigger in the back.

Love the new tundras! We had one at the landscape company I worked at . We were in a pinch and had to use it to pull our trailer with a 7 ton Kubota mini excavator on it! With it in tow mode and using the gear select button on the steering colum we hauled that machine 15 miles with out a single problem . I was watching the tranny temp gauge the whole time and it never got above normal operating temp! I was sold on tundras that very afternoon. And it had no problem getting up to 65!

Most parts i would just go to Toyota for. If it s a non critical item i would find it cheaper. Engine components def Toyota.

So my wife is looking into the 4Runner more. She really wants a 5th gen with the crazy front end. What year did that start? 2014 right?
I know my Tacoma and Tundra facts but not the 4Runner.

Probably not the best question to ask in my introduction thread. You should post up a new thread or search for a thread that discusses skid plates.
