Getting ready to do my first “electrical” mod on the rig by adding some ditch lights. Electrical is one of those things I will not tinker with as my knowledge is very very limited and don’t want to risk any damage. With that said, I’ve been watching videos of the installation and it seems that for the most part the ditch lights run off their own “circuit” per say? They don’t tap into any of the pre existing wiring the truck already has, so if I were to somehow mess it up I wouldn’t fry the electronics and he left with a big paper weight?
    Thanks for any input!

No, it’s pretty simple. Mount lights, connect to power, ground, enjoy.
