We've done a half dozen moderate to difficult rated trails while here (Phoenix area), nothing extreme. The brush and thorns here, though.............

Added some unavoidable pinstriped that'll have to be buffed out when home (see post #4). None are through the clearcoat. The photo is the worst of it.

Chose silver (white was first choice) specifically for those color's scratch hiding abilities. MGM or Green were first choices if could stay out of harms way or more efficient with buffing compound.

Bilstein 6112/ 5112 suspension. RCI sliders, ARB skid plates, Icon UCA’s, Icon 2” rear coils, TRD LED fog lights, 30” LED light bar. TSO Grille. 285/70/17 BFG KO2’s, Icon Vector 6 wheels. Weathertech floor mats. 2.5”/ 2” lift. K&N CAI.
I’ve been thinking about a beater for serious trails. Maybe an older Toyota Hilux pickup with a tricked out suspension. Don’t want to drive a Wrangler!

My runner is 6 weeks old. I’ve only taken it out twice and already have some pretty bad looking pinstripes. I think I’m going to buff it out and polish it to make it look decent. But let me tell you something, I will bring garden shears when I hit the trail next time. That way I can enjoy the trail and save other off-roaders from having some pinstripes even if it means putting in more work before hitting the narrow points.

It looks like the armor and sliders were an afterthought. A waste of money..

If you are going to off road, it's gonna get scratched. Otherwise, you are just driving on a dirt road. To each their own, I full thrashed my 03 Disco as soon as my warranty expired. 33's, full skids, sliders and wheeled the heck out that truck. Same plan for the Runner, except I will have cooled seats for my desert adventures.:D
