Hey, all I'm new to this forum but I'm coming over from TacomaWorld I've got an 11 RC Tacoma but in addition to that we just picked up a 97 SR5 auto with the locker. It's got about 230k on the clock but has great maintenance records and a lot done over the past year or so but anything NOT on this list I should take care of?
    - Timing belt
    - Top-end gaskets
    - Sparks
    - Ball joints
    - Tie rods
    - UCAs
    - Muffler
    - Diffs, Trans, Transfer case all flushed

    A couple of other questions.
    - This runner came without a key fob but has auto locks. From what I understand the keyless entry may have been an option from the dealer (RS3000?) that never got installed on this runner. I looked under the driver's seat for the receiver and there isn't anything. Could it have been installed elsewhere behind the dash/engine bay, are there any clues that would lead me to find it somewhere out of the norm? Keyless entry isn't a must but I'd like it for the lady since it's her rig.

    - It's got the stiff gas pedal, and also from what I understand it may be the throttle cable/linkage, or potentially the throttle body is gummed up. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet but I'll most likely do a process of elimination. Disconnect the gas pedal see how the play is then disconnecting from the throttle body and feel how the cable is then clean the throttle body anyway but other than that any tips or tricks?

I've found TacomaWorld really helpful so I'm sure I'll find the same here. Can't forget the eye candy of the runner, taco, and the honorable mention, the subi.
