Tacoma owner coming over to the other side.

So for the first time since 2008 I no longer own a Tacoma pickup. As an avid hunter, fisherman and lover of the outdoors I found the Tacoma trucks to be the perfect blend of size and capability to do pretty much whatever I needed/wanted to do. Hauling firewood, atv's and hunting stands were every weekend activities.

Until now.

In my previous jobs I left the house and went somewhere to work. Every day now I go in a different direction. My new job involves a lot of visiting customers and job sites and a lot of city driving. It also requires that I carry samples and literature to show customers. A Tacoma A-cab with a 6-speed stick was the wrong tool for the job.

Solution?

Sold the 06 A-cab 4x4 off-road truck with 81k in VG condition and purchased a gently used 07 SR5 4x4 in Graphite Gray with 95k. The deal worked out where I didn't have to pull any money out of my pockets and I can write off the sales tax and vehicle registration and license fees so it is a win/win.
I now have a capable vehicle for both my business and personal needs. Figuring out how and where to store all of my "incidentals" has been the only problem I have encountered so far. A medium sized duffle bag now holds my recovery, medical and camping/outdoorsy related gear and some tools. I am grateful for the cavernous glove box and center console.
