CowboyTaco on a 4Runner forum?

Hey guys,

I'm CowboyTaco, a long time member over on TacomaWorld.

So what am I doing over here? Well, I had a 2014 MGM TEP that we sold when our family outgrew the 4Runner. As you know, the TEP doesn't have a 3rd row option. At some point, a Limited or SR5 w/ 3rd row will possibly be in my future. As could a Tundra or GX.

Since I have some knowledge from owning a 5th gen 4Runner already, and the Tacoma share so many parts, I figured I could be a beneficial member over here as well.

Shortly after purchasing the 14 TEP, we swapped the bridgestone tires for some Nitto ATs (which I will never purchase again) and added the kayak rack on the factory roof rail.



Google "stylized" photo from the other direction in the same spot.



Kayak rack delete, Cabelas roof basket added. For a cheap basket, I really liked this one.

 

Added Schrockworks sliders:


Pro tip: use the factory bottle jack and a spark plug socket to support the gas can.

Had a mini-mod day at a friend's house. Rago brackets and Opt7 30" lightbar installed.


and then compared to his new ToyTec BOSS kit.

and some chrome delete mod. Compliments of the good ol plastidip.

 

I wanted one of those fancy overland drawer systems, but my wife said no. Then we went on a road trip. Ever change a baby diaper on a seat that isn't level?

Oh yeah, and the ARB 37L came about that same time. Hence the dual battery.
