Missing connectors?

    Not sure what/where this two pictures leads to? I am new to 4 runners. What do I need to Connect them or where should the other end fits to?
    1993 3.0 4x4 auto

    Connector should be blocked off. Not connected to anything. Can you find where the other end of the hose goes to?

    1995 4Runner, Black,Tan Interior, 5spd.,(convert from A340) 207,000 mi., on its 3rd 3VZE.
    Ford Taurus 2 spd. elec. cooling fan, GM CS-144 alternator upgrade. Intimidator AGM battery.
    Hi:
    Look closely at the circled area in the photo.
    The opening on the EGR valve is threaded.
    Those threads are for the missing sensor that is present on vehicles that were manufactured for the Peoples Republic of Kaliforniia.
    That sensor is where the electrical plug connects to.
    Vehicles made for other countries, and the other US states that don't require a smog sniff test,, will not have an opening in the valve at that point.
    I would think that the check engine money light would be on, and a code stored every time you start the car.
    If your car doesn't require a sensor(other than Ca.) then the computer won't be looking for a signal from the sensor, and the plug will be capped off.
    The valve could have been replaced at sometime in the past with one for a Ca. car.
    As far as the hose goes, you'll have to provide destination info. to determine its purpose.

    Mine is a Virginia vehicle and has that open port. No plug and no lights. It has been like that since I have owned it.
