Need help on fluid change my 1993

    Recently purchased a 1993
    3.0 auto 4x4
    Need specs on the fluid I need to change
    1. Transfer case fluid. What weight. Is it ATF dextron II OR III
    Quality to purchase and what size washer to use
    2. Differential front and rear
    What Washer to Use and what type of oils and the amount on each diff
    I did change the engine oil with Castrol 10-30 semi syntactic

    1. Transfer case is the same as your tranny. Supposed to be Dex II but not made anymore. I used Valvoline Maxlife full synthetic. Red container. On my vehicle, the transfer case fills when you fill the tranny. Could be different on yours.
    2. Front says 75w90, rear 80w90 but I just used 80w90 for both. No issues. Front takes 2 qts, rear 2.3 qts. I used Lucas oil. Bought 2 gallons and a hand pump. Also make sure you loosen the fill port first before you open the drain. You can reuse the washers if you wish. Not sure of part numbers.

    I did see the drain plug for the front and it is the same plug as the rear. But has not find the filler nut

    The filler nut for the back is on the back of the diff. The front one is on the front of the diff. You will need to drop the skid plate and will need an extension on your socket.
