I'm looking at picking up one of these OEM Toyota rubber liners/mats for my 2021 5 seater 4Runner.

My dad has one in his 2018 5 seater. One of his main complaints with it was that when you place heavier items onto it and then try and pull them out that the rubber cargo liner comes with the item and does not stay in place.

I called Toyota to find out if the newer liners anchor to the vehicle better but they were not sure.

Does anyone here have a newer Toyota cargo liner? Does it anchor to the tie down point in the back or does it have those rubber spikes on the back side to keep it anchored to the carpet?

my 2020 limited (three row) came with one and it has the same problem. not designed to stick to the carpet or attach to anything.

I have the Husky Liner. Much better, stays in place and covers the most aft corners as well.

I grabbed a pkg of 2" velcro at Wally world, put a piece at each corner area and it worked great. I now have my Canvasback liner there, and it doesn't move at all.

Funny you mention kennel flooring. With the disco, I had an SD rack, and used kennel/coop flooring to make a base. This was standard practice for Rover folks.:)

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
Keep about 100lbs of recovery gear on one side of the OEM mat. The mat won't move around.

Looks like Husky does not yet list a cargo liner for 2021. Has anyone found?

Ended up picking up a Toyota cargo liner and using velcro to secure it. Works great!

I’m looking for that same liner. I like the way it pushes up to the rear seats. Would you be able to provide that part number on the mat?

Toyota one sucks. Would not buy good thing I got mine for free.

Velcro works but shouldn't need to add anything to make it hold. Without velcro it slides out with evertyhing.

Strange, that is the part number on my bill of sale and I don't own a Sienna. Its a little hard to see but if you zoom into the first pic in post #19 you can sorta see the part number on the white top sticker. When I compare the previously mentioned part number it matches the part number on that white sticker (post #19). Hope that helps, otherwise just call your local dealership.

    Cheers

Yes I can confirm that this part was purchased in Canada.

I had no idea Toyota part numbers are country specific; Interesting very interesting.

I have the Husky and it's great. Of course, I always heve some weight on it, so it does not move.

Would also be neat to have some type of cargo mat/liner to cover the entire area when the rear seats are folded down. But I guess that would be a bear to ship. LOL

Not sure why this is so hard for Toyota. My previous '17 Tacoma had an awesome, thick, heavy, no slip rubber bed mat that would ensure nothing sliding around and it itself was heavy and thick enough that it didn't budge.

Use the same mat, cut it to size for the 4Runner, slap a logo on it and then profit.

Has anyone seen or have a Weathertech rear mat? If so what is the fit like, retention and so forth?

There other than fabric cargo liners there is no solution out there for the back of the seats it appears, yes?

As for the guys with the factory mat and using velcro to secure it from sliding out - has that velcro remained secured to the under side of the mat on super hot days? It would seem to me that adhesive would become soft come loose from the mat.
