    Hi all,

I have the awesome tire size chart someone gave me from the forum but I believe that is specific to stock height and non TRD rims.

Anyone know if a “smaller” 285/70r17 wrapped on the black TRD 17 inch 4Runner rims would rub off road on a 2018 4Runner TRD Off Road with a 1 3/4 lift in the front? I’m told the black TRD rims have a better offset that pushes the wheel out a bit more.

The further the wheel goes out, greater the chance you’ll rub on the body mount. 285’s and that tire size with under 2” of lift you’ll probably rub.

Since I do not go on serious off-roading, I did spacer leveling/lift. 3" front and 2 " back and put 285 70R/17 yesterday. push back front plastic about 1" and trimmed bumper corner for about 1/2" x 4". no more rubbing and loving it. much better than stock 265 with front dipping.
