Sooooo, got them hairline fractures on my trans oil lines that spew oil when the engine is on

I cannot for the life of me get off the flare nuts. They're now starting to round.

Any advice? My current plan is after I remove the lines, cutting the pipe ends, reflaring and clamping with the appropriate hose. Yet to do that due to stuck flare nuts that won't come off...

I was thinking torching with one of those mini torches people use for tobacco pipes since it's too tight for a bernzo. Don't know if the trans oil is too flammable for that. PLEASE HELP, I want to finally get her running.

If the nuts are not too rounded, a 6 point crows foot wrench should work.

Unfortunately I just bought a set of those cuties, and were rounding it simply from how tight the flare nut is. I'm at a loss to how to break them free from how tight the clearance is under there. I want to torch them but unsure since there is wiring right along the same area of the nut. Also not too sure about flamability.

    What do you think?

Heat might help, but ATF is flammable. I would only try to heat the nut to 200-300F, that should be enough to expand the nut. Obviously being careful not to damage the wires or start a fire.

If you can get a Dremel tool with a small cut off wheel in there, carefully cut a slot in the nut down to the top of threads of the fitting and try again with the wrench. I have had good luck removing frozen nuts that way.

Well I have good things to say, I got off the send line fitting, however with a saw...

The return line fitting came off just fine, however the brackets were rust welded so I had to cut off the return line from the radiator end... gonna tape them back together and see if I can get these manufactured.

Thank you for your help! I'm now finally getting the truck back to the road bit by bit.
