    I'm probably a day away from buying a 1.5" front, 1" back Cornfed Spacer kit for my 2017 TRD Pro. At the moment I'm thinking I will run 275 70R17 General Grabbers A/Tx once I install the lift.

    Before I pull the trigger, does anyone have any helpful knowledge on the spacers (install, concerns, etc.) or any recommendations on better options I should explore.

    I'm looking to just add a little height and bigger tires. I ran 285 70R17's on my Tacoma with a 2.5" lift. For my daily driver, that was about as big as I want to go. Obviously the 4Runner set-up I'm looking at here would be a little bit smaller than what I was running on my Tacoma.

    Thanks for any comments, help, and advice.

    One thing I have learned.... do it right from the beginning. Spare yourself from extra expenditures and do it right the first time.

    I ran a Bilstein set-up on my Tacoma, the rough was always a little more rocky than I wanted. I believe some of that could be credited to the BFGs I had.

    If you had Bilstein and thought that was rocky wait til you put spacers on.

    And most issues here with bigger tires is rubbing front to back not the height.

    I'm not entirely sure the install was done correctly. A lot of the rockiness also came from the cheap rear add a leaf.

    I had some slight rubbing in the Tacoma. Hoping the 275's will work fine in the front on the 4Runner. Running stock wheels.

    My wife ran 1" Cornfed front spacers for a year on her 17 before she sold the truck. They were fine. No issues with rough ride. If all you're looking for is stance without function, they are perfectly acceptable.

    275w will fit stock, if you’re just adding spacers to fit them.

    May I suggest a eibach pro springs? They’ll give you roughly 2” and improve your ride quality. Around 350 bucks for all 4. I’m running 285’s11CC21C6-88E5-48B6-A0CF-60A74EEA12E0.jpg

    I just realized you have a PRO.

    In that case, I would like to change my response. First, 1.5 / 1 may put you nose high since the PRO is closer to level from the factory. Also, I personally wouldn't jibber up an otherwise good PRO suspension with a spacer. It'll still be fine... but why...

    Initially I assumed I'd need the extra lift to fit the 275's, but it sounds like that may not be the issue. I guess at this point it would just be aesthetics.

    The PRO rides very well as-is.

    RevTek 3" front- 2" rear leveling, JBA uca's, LED interior lights, Cooper 275-70-17 AT3 LT
    I have 275-70-17 Coopers with a RevTek 3"/2" spacer setup, no wheel spacers, good ride, a little suspension roll/dive, putting on UCA's for better caster, but most of all no rubbing with the 275's, about 7/8" clearance front and behind the front tire, no body mount chop or inner fender/mudflap mods, overall; not the "best" setup, but economical, effective, and it looks ok. This setup is for now, upgrades can always be in the future.

    Perfect, thanks for the advice. Do you think the size of the spacer has any impact on ride, i.e. smaller spacer = better ride?

    That what I was guessing but wasn't totally sure. I'm thinking a small spacer (1" to 1.5") matched up with my Pro suspension should be good enough ride quality for me.

    If you use stock springs they are still at factory length, smoothness of ride ,very little effect. I've done the same thing to a Tacoma, Bilstein shock setup, the ride was the same as stock. Ride has alot to do with tire inflation, you don't need 80lbs. of air in a 10 ply tire because it says Max air in tire: 80 lbs on the tire. Air them according to your preference, and vehicle.

    I am looking to do some Cornfed Spacers as well. I was gonna do a 1" up front just to level it. I am running beefier stock size tires on there with about a 2" off set Helo wheel. They rub a bit when I turn all the way to one direction or the other.

    I was wondering if anyone has leveled by simply doing the front. Most of what I see is a front and back spacer and I just really don't want to mess with the back. Adding a spacer to the front is simple and easy. I had a raised Tacoma but I just don't want to do it with the 4 runner.

    Thanks! I ordered spacers but they are a stopgap thing for me before I get real coilovers. I dont wanna deal with spring compressors etc, where can I get prebuilt coilovers just for the front, just enough to level the truck? Sorry if it is hijacking the thread.
