2021 Trail cheaper than SR5 ?

So I was looking at the trail 2021 (Canada) and it is around 3k (about $33.x USD) cheaper than the SR5 ($36.x USD), while having some nice options: heated mirrors, 8 airbags, roof basket, black badges, black roofrails, nice gunmetal rims, cooler, army green/cement, etc.
I get it, no KDSS, no softex and no 4x4 goodies; I don't care about the softex too much, I REALLY wanted cloth seats (these come with tan stitching).
I am assuming the Trail is 4x4, so ~7k (cad) cheaper than the TRD OR. I feel cheated.

 

The canadia spec SR5 is much less poverty spec than what the US gets so it costs a lot more. Where as the Trail is a US poverty spec build with some silly shit bolted on.

 

I asked the same question here before nobody knows.
however I guess it's 4x2. if 4x4 I probably take it over OR.

 

I dont think there are or ever were any non 4x4 or no sunroof 4R sold in Canada.

 

If I were you, I'd hold out for an Off Road.
Lots of trails up there where I'd want the locking rear differential.
