    What color is your interior? I have a grey/blue console i think that is Moon Mist. Great condition, and no tears in the lid cover. Out of a 3rd gen.

    Did you find a console that fits? I also have an 88 and would like to replace the center console.

    Totally stock.
    Just my two cents...! Years ago I needed a console lid. I found another ( bigger & longer !) lid then cut it to fit my console. I then hinged it underneath with a tiny wood block and from the back with a screw. (See pics!) Went to Pep Boys and re-spray painted. I have YET to dremel, paint or sand so the finish looks better & hide cut marks or the screw! Good luck finding both ! :)console1.jpg console2.jpg con21.jpg con41.jpg
