    Hey guys. Having trouble finding the rack that comes on the Venture. I am just trying to get an estimate of it’s value. I’d like to sell it to go towards a full length Front Runner roof rack. Any help is appreciated!

    After looking and looking I think I'm going with the @victory4x4 full length rack. Probably with the lightbar cutout because, you know....some day.....and the 'some day' is the reason for the full rack choice. I don't want to get the 3/4 and then next year "Crap, wish I had that extra room". Do I think I will ever NEED all that extra....no....but if I do.....

    Reasons why I chose that one - 1) biased because I'm a former Michigander 2) I like the aesthetics of the design (yes, it is similar to others) 3) reviews seem to be majority positive. The only 'downside' I've read is the rear tabs/wings might touch.

    I like the side brackets for a future awning. The one thing I'm not finding is how to mount any hard cases whether they are Alubox, Pelican or Roam (or the like). I'm used to using DaKine straps for my outrigger canoe and surfboards, so I'm a little lost on how boxes are mounted/secured.

    Reading another suspension thread I'm taking that direction and looking at doing rack, tires, sliders. From there....we'll see about suspension. The advice/direction on the other thread was 'have an idea of what you're REALLY going to be using it for, then make sound decisions'.

    Anyway.....time for more coffee.....:turtleride:
