2018 4runner trd off-road

Has anyone had any problems with using other than Caliraised ditch lights with their low pro mounts? I dont mind the lights they are selling - which work with the mount perfectly, but I am looking at other brands and want to make sure they are all the same size and wont pinch the hood when I open her up. I am also thinking of attaching a quick release close to the light itself so I can take it off when I know I wont use it for a while. Anyone else tried this?
