    Hey all,
So my wife has this bright idea to change out the shocks and struts on her 2018 TRD off road. She paid for it but the appointment is next week

I dont know nearly enough about shocks and struts but I know when I bought the thing the guy was saying the KDSS on the off road was solid.

Apparently shes getting bilstein 5100. I've heard they arent bad....but how do they stack up against the KDSS? Here's a photo of the receipt. Is this an upgrade or a downgrade? Thanks for the advice!

KDSS is a sway bar not a shock so you will still have KDSS.

    Bilstein are better than stock.

Looks like shes going bigger with the tires too. I like the way she thinks.

If I'm reading it correct. Rims, Tires, Lift'Level?, Alignment for $1600. I say not bad.

The Bilsteins will be an upgrade from the current shocks you have.

They will provide a firmer ride, considerably reduce the nose dive during breaking, and will be more capable offroad.

They can also provide some lift in the front with a few different heights to choose from. You can also retain the stock front height with them as well.
