This was my simple sample batch:
    1) 2# block of velveta (cubed)
    1) 6oz block of ghost pepper cheese (cubed)
    1) can of Rotel original.
    1) can of Rotel Chipotle
    1) 1# ground beef (seasoned with pepper)
I sprinkled some bbq rub over the top before going on the smoker.
Put each ingredient into corners to help the smoke. Mix individually once to get smoke throughout. When cheese starts to melt mix together until it begins to slightly bubble.
300° for one hour over the smoker.
Post your results please! The ghost pepper cheese made it very spicy; skip or sub as needed.

Tonight is a 2# porterhouse and asparagus! I absolutely love this egg. It will cook anything. I am always looking for ideas if anyone wants to share...

I have a ZGrill pellet stove I bought when we moved. I’ve since picked up a Weber Kettle and use it exclusively. Smoking and searing with the slow and sear accessory... the Weber is unmatched in flavor and consistency. Charcoal for the win.

Hardwood lump charcoal! Kingsford has formaldehyde as a binding agent!!!
Lump charcoal & wood chunks or chips makes a great smokey flavor.

I love my weber kettle grill & weber gas grill; but nothing beats a "kamado" type of grill for versatility. My egg gets most of the use now!

Just found these this weekend. This will light my egg full of lump charcoal and wood (50/50) with only a lighter. No fluid necessary! Everything is natural. Not that I care; I just know we get chemicals everywhere & I am cooking a lot more during the pandemic so it may as well be good for me...

im looking at buying pretty much what i have now which is a weber summit series 4 burner w a side burner. probably gonna go with the genesis series 4 burner w a side burner and sear station. i would like to get in to charcoal one of these days but i dont have the room for both on the deck.

also im looking for some advice on smokers...i have a char broil propane one that has done me really well, but i am thinking more of switching to an electric smoker due to ease of use. i feel like i would use it more if it was a little less maintenance, even though sitting around having drinks and fiddling with the smoker is a great time haha. thoughts?

many experience using a kamado for Boston butt? The electric smoker i add made it difficult to spray the roast with vinegar every few hours.

I had a gas grill and a smoker before my pellet grill. I've gotten rid of both of those and switched over to a pellet grill and love it. I've got a pit boss pro series that I got at lowes and for the money it is freaking awesome. I posted a grill I've been looking at in post #131. They look pretty awesome.

No experience with my egg & a butt. I will try it soon. We just got the egg so I am slowly learning as to not waste anything.
Honestly, I want to try a smoked pizza!

I do pizza quite a bit on my pellet grill. A pizza stone really helps.

I cannot deny a pellet grill can be awesome and make great food. They also all have their vices. (Hopper issues, flame ups just research it).
I will say that the same kind customer of mine (that gifted me 2 grills) had a pellet grill, a Holland grill & an egg. He gifted me the Holland grill & egg. He gave me the egg because he wanted the new & bigger Primo.
My backyard is like a commercial kitchen of useful grills now.
    1) 3 burner Weber Genesis with rotisserie.
    1) Holland grill
    1) large Green Egg
For fast grilling the weber gets the mark. For anything smoked it is the Egg & honestly I haven't tried the Holland because it was attached to a N/G line & I am too busy to go get a valve...
We are eating great but need more outdoor space now!

We use a pizza stone in our oven.
I was thinking about trying and smoking a "Papa Murphys" pizza; if you know the chain. However, I am unsure of temp so I may buy two incase the first is a failure.
Any suggestions on time & temp? Do you make your own pizzas?
    Thanks,
    Ryan

I've done a lot of papa murphys pizzas. I just follow the instructions on the pizza. I have made my own pizzas as well. For homemade pizzas I will usually semi cook the dough before putting the toppings on.

I'm not saying youre wrong about the hopper issues and flare ups but I have never experienced hopper issues. My brother has a Zgrill and he says he regularly has hopper issues. The only time I have had any flare up issues is when I haven't cleaned out the fire pot and it flares up before I've even started cooking. Cleaning out the fire pot is really the biggest downfall to the pellet grill I have. You have to remove the cooking grates and the drip pan which is kind of a pain in the ass. I ended up just buying a small, cheap shop vac and use that to vacuum out the ash build up. Makes it a bit easier but still is kind of a pain.

I got (for my birthday) last year of the Genesis I with no side burner or sear function. I still love it & it is a beast; you can grill all winter with it!
We got the Lowe's "exclusive" brown but I don't care. It is a great product!
Get the rotisserie for it! That makes amazing chicken or turkey breast. I also love the doors for nice storage.
Did you get the cast iron or SS surface?
Great buy! Buy once cry once...

ryan im stoked on it!! i will def get the rotisserie for it at some point. we grill constantly so knowing i can grill all winter is a big plus. i got the SS surface. it was either that or black enamel top and porcelain grates. i did some research and the SS grates were the better choice.
