Wildfires raging all over the region. Closest is about 15 miles, but no danger to my town.

Government air quality chart goes from 0-500, with anything over 300 as hazardous. My area is at 532. I'm indoors and my eyes are burning. It's like sitting next to a campfire and having the smoke blowing towards you, but you can't just move your chair. It's literally everywhere.

Sounds awful. I have fam out there and they said they can’t even go outside because it’s so bad. Another day of this and the vulnerable peeps (old, asthma, etc) are gonna have some major problems. This has potential to overwhelm a hospital faster than the ‘rona.

Hang in there MountainMan! I drove over the road semi for years and have been through areas where wild fires have taken thousands of acres. Not sure if I could handle it personally. Hopefully you get a monsoon...... soon.

Wow, everything I read and hear about it, says it’s the new normal. I hope not, my heart goes out to you, and especially to anyone who has underlying health conditions. I guess if you could afford to take a few weeks vacation to somewhere that has clear air, now would be the time to do it.

Shitty picture but this was my drive to work this morning. There was a couple times I couldn't even see the fog line.
