    Hello.
4runner 2004 limited with 2.5" daystar leveling / lifting kit on.
Planing to change my tires soon, currently running the stock 265/65R17.
My first option is to go with A/T 265/70R17, believe no issues.
My second option is go with A/T 285/65R17 - it will fit with this basic lifting kit, and without wheel spacers on?
Im not interested of adding wheel spacers, wanted to know if the 285 will fit without touching the arms / other parts (mud fenders / flaps are not the issue).
    Thanks experts!

Short answer is no. 285 on stock wheels are too wide and will rub the upper control arm . If you take your hand and run your fingers on the backside of the tire(on the top) you will feel there isn’t much space between the current narrower tire and the UCA and spindle

    Thanks expert.
    Eventually, I installed the 265/70R17.
Zero rub! There is still this tiny space between the wheel and the upper control arm (compared it with the stock tire), as well not touching the mud flaps / fenders between steering wheel locks.
Question regarding the UCA- all those parts are fixed, right? No movements at all? I'm asking because planning to go off road but wanna make sure no contact between the parts.

You will be fine on the UCA on 265. There is the possibility of rubbing plastics in the front wheel well or on the mud flaps but it is a small chance
