    Hello everyone,

I just get my replacement bulb for my 4Runner 5th gen, 2017. I replaced the low h11 beam with the Philips VisionPlus (+60%). I also replaced the HB3-9005 high beam with standard Philips 9005 halogen bulb (I think lightly stronger, about 65w instead of 60w). But now I have a little problem and I wanna know if you someone encounter this. My H11 seem perfectly fine fitting the stock halogen projector, they fit tight in the housing. Now the 9005 are the problem, they are a lot less tight that than the original one that come with the 4R, I don't want to have humidity or water in the headlight), so my question is, do someone already had this problem Philips Halogen replacement bulb ? Also, did you find a solution ? It make me wonder what is going on with theses bulb?

PS : i had notice than the bulb I get are 9005 C1 ... but I can't anything on the web explaining what is the 9005 C1 vs 9005 normal ... maybe my problem is here !

    thank you very much

By chance, did you happen to reuse the o-ring from the oem bulb? Sometimes the replacement bulb o-rings are not as robust, shall we say...

Hi, thank you for the help, no I didn't replace the o-ring at this time. I will take a look to try this, but it will be difficult to do so without touching the bulb. But I will try :)
