I have a third gen but since a higher percentage of 2nd gen have chrome bumpers here I am. I got a chrome bumper from a scrap yard and restored it, but for some reason someone drilled three holds on each side of the bumper.

Having three relatively large holes on both side of my bumper does not look super great and I hope to find some way to fill them in and then match the color the the chrome.

Anyone got any ideas of how this could be done?

I was just thinking of getting some bondo and then finding some sort of finish that can match it to the rest of the bumper.

How big are the holes? Can you use a chrome carriage bolt or rivet to fill the hole? Your local big box store should have a chrome section in hardware area. I'd start there and see if they have something random that you can use to fill the hole.
