There are no grease fittings to grease on a stock 4 Runner, however since installing JBA UCAs on my 2018 ORP, I now have three fittings per side. No big deal. In the old days, you could have a lot more than that, and it provided a good excuse to roll around under your vehicle and check out other stuff as well.
But my question is what type of grease others are using on after market components like UCAs? I was thinking of Red Line red moly, but I've never used it before. I was told that urethane bushings can sometimes squeek, which can be annoying, so I'm hoping to avoid that.
    Any comments or suggestions? Thanks.

I used to use that redline but honestly my UCAs started squeaking a lot faster than I expected. I would say around couple hundred miles but I dont drive it much so not sure if the sitting is hurting it or not.

Someone here recommended green grease which you can use on all greaseable stuff on the 4R.

So I got that sitting here for my next round of greasing.

I think that's a waterproof marine grease, which I already have. It's a lot cheaper than Red moly, so that's a bonus. What kind of UCAs are you running?

Whaterever works. I'm tired of having to grease it every other month and only drive it 500 miles if even that.

Yeah, I'd find that a bad routine too. I'm hoping for a shot of grease every oil change, or maybe 2x every oil change if they start to squeek.

Silicone based waterproof grease is best for polyurethane bushings.

I don't think you're supposed to use petroleum based greases on polyurethane bushings.

I have stock UCA's, so I don't really use the stuff.

I just know that silicone based grease does better on plastic based components that don't generate a bunch of heat.

Lithium based greases are derived from petroleum, which can cause the breakdown of rubber and polyurethane components over time.

I don't know exactly what Moly is, but it's mostly used for metal on metal applications in high heat environments. Can't figure out if it's petroleum based or not, so I'm not sure if it will break down poly bushings.

Maybe someone else knows a good silicone based grease. I see this one around just about everywhere:

On JBA's website they suggest lithium based grease.

After I install my JBA's I plan on using Mobil 1 synthetic grease which is a synthetic base fluid with a lithium soap thickener.

In your original post I'm not sure if you are referring to no spots to grease on the stock UCA's or on a stock 4Runner period.

There are a total of 5 spots to grease on a stock 4Runner between the front and rear driveshafts. I use Mobil 1 grease on those as well.
