Can I still use this transmission?

I picked up another R150F off of a 96 Tacoma. I'm trying to put it in a 94 4Runner. It's supposed to be the same transmission, but the bolt pattern on the rear is not the same and won't match up with my transfer case. The front matches up with my bell housing, the input and output shafts are the same, and the front half seems to have all the same dimensions. What I'm trying to figure out is whether or not I can use the transfer adapter from my old transmission. I don't want to break open the transfer case to only find out that it won't work.

Well good news, it did fit and my transfer adapter would work. Bad news, the input shaft on the front is longer than mine. Word to the wise, R150F is not the same between 2nd and 3rd gen. 95% the same, but enough to not work. Back to car-parts.
