So mentioned these new shocks in my introduction but just wanted to add a few extra things about these Toytec 2.5 Aluma Series front and rear shocks.

First I only have one thing to compare these too and those are Icons 2.5 Extended Travel front and rear I had on my 2012 Tacoma. So with saying that I will begin.

Second Toytec was awesome to deal with and when I emailed them some questions they answered with the quickness and so happy I dealt with them and will be doing business with them in the future for any of my needs. So there is that. Toytec you get a Gold star! ⭐️

Third and finally about these 2.5 Aluma Series...... THEY ARE AWESOME! So happy I went with these as I was up in the air between these and the Icons. The Icons on my Tacoma were great and really did like them and had no problems with them. So I really am comparing them to my Tacoma ones so I guess this could be biased but just going off the ride quality. The Toytec Aluma Series just ride AMAZING! I guess when I hear people talk about Kings riding like butter I think this might be what they mean. Now I know they aren't Kings and since I never had any I can't compare. But coming from Icons and what people talk about Kings I have to feel these will give them a run for their money.

I was hitting as many bumps and potholes as I could today to test them out and they ate them up. And being on these Norfolk streets you hit some good ones! They are not firm or harsh just the perfect feel. I didn't get that feeling with the Icons. Don't get me wrong I did like the Icons but these are just so much more softer without being soft, can't really describe it but just know if you get these you will be happy and love them. So that is my 2 cents and hope it might help someone decide on what to get for their lift because believe that is one of the hardest decisions when your in the market. Any questions just let me know

Congrats. Maybe I should have opened my wallet abit more. I just have the regular toytec coilovers and they suck. I have bilstien 6112s and fox and halolifts to compare to. Halo was the best between the 4 and only bought toytecs as they claimed they taught halo everything they know.

Yeah when I first did my tacoma before I started with pro comp and immediately regretted that! Then went to Icons. Did a lot of research and shopping around before I went with the Toytec Aluma Series this time. The good thing is I put the money I saved from my purchase back into the lift at financing and the dealership installed everything. After installing my previous 2 lifts I wasn't mad at that. The front, rears, UCA, and rear coils came out to around $3000

The toytec boss should ride really well actually. Did you get upper controls the correct spring rating? Also halolifts is going to for Ford vehicles so completely different animal! Let me know if you have any questions.

congrats on the new lift sir! I'm glad you like it!

Thank you for the kind words Troy!! Happy to hear everything is working out for you perfectly! Please let us know if there is anything else you need help with or have questions about!!!

Sorry to hear about the experience you had with our BOSS product. And you are correct, Halo lifts started about 5 years after Toytec Lifts when the now owner of Halo (previously known as "F-150 Lifts") approached the owner of Toytec (owner of Halo rented out a shop next to our old building) and asked if there was a market for any of the F-150 product line. We welcomed him in, got him in contact with all the correct people he needed to get in contact with and then the business grew from there. Still to this day the owner of Halo Lifts still comes by and takes us out to lunch ;)

It’s rumoured that the Toytec Aluma series suspension kits are made in conjunction with Elka. If that’s true, Elka is up there with some bigger names in my opinion.
