My bad. Getting rid of the stock Aisin 2bbl. Looking at the Weber 38 carb kit from LCE and emissions delete. Will be doing the emissions delete regardless.

    LCEngineering Kit includes:
    -Offenhauser manifold
    -Weber 38 2bbl
    -Install hardware

The stock 22R non EFI OEM manifold actually flows better than the Offy. Back in the Day Downey-Off-Road did a big write up on this in there catalog. However, the Offy orients the Weber without an adapter. I ran that kit on a brand new bored and stroked LC-Eng motor for about a month and being as I had a bit more displacement it seemed to work well enough but one of the valve guides galled and I had to send the motor back to LC for warranty repair and later realized the weber had some casting flash that broke away and lodged into the jetting that fed the outer throat of the carb which made #1 and #4 run lean based in how the offy works. I am pretty sure that is what caused the valve guide to gall and seize up because of the lean condition.

A better choice if you really want to up the performance is to put dual side draft Mikuni's or Webers on the 22R. It will make a clean 120 HP and maybe a bit more with some head work and a CAM and header. been here and done that too and it was the best thing I ever did with my 1982 long bed 4X4 running 32's and 4.88:1 R&P's!...
