Help me decide if I want a brush guard on my 2020 trd pro. Definitely would want to have 1 or 2 smallish light bars (side by side) in it and possibly a winch. Will never do rock crawls but could possibly get stuck on muddy dirt roads (hunting) so if I’d need it it’s there verses needing a winch and not having one. With that being said I’ve only needed a winch maybe twice since I’ve “matured” and know where I shouldn’t go. Thanks

Are you talking about a ranch hand style guard?

Do you want this for the winch only? If that's the case there are hidden winch mounts that are more cost effective and look very streamlined. You can mount LED bars behind the grille without a stand-alone bull bar / bumper using this hidden winch mount, too.

I have a Westin bull bar for sale, cheap. Had it on my Gen 5, but took it off to add a front receiver hitch. Chrome plate in middle with black bars. Am in Reno area.

I wouldn’t buy a cheap bull bar that does nothing to protect your vehicle.

I plan to buy the SSO slimline hybrid. I think the price is good, has a nice hoop and you can get it with a light bar and winch cutout.

I think it’s perfect to keep the great looking fang bumper style and if you want a little more front wheel clearance they sell a high clearance kit. You have to cut your bumper for the high clearance kit but I still think it looks great and I think I will wind up getting it. I’m definitely getting the bumper.

That came out looking very clean! SSO is not fast, I ordered the same bumper on Dec 12 and it still shows as out at the powder coater. At this rate it looks like a 4 month+ wait (so much for the 8-12 week estimate).

We ordered ours on dec 11th and just got it in and installed last Thursday. This is the Baton Rouge location in Louisiana. They did the install in about 2.5hrs.

I had this random part show up today ordered from Amazon for $13.03. Except I know I did not order it two days ago on March 29th but I sort of recognize the part.

Its a single piece of the sso light bar wiring kit package. I must be getting close on my bumper order now, stuff I paid for 15+ weeks ago is just getting ordered and shipped.

    Could always be worse.

You could have placed your order on Jan 22, like I did, and be even further out. I watch SSO’s IG account and I’ve seen complete bumpers (minus powder coat) with order numbers written on them that have surpassed mine by almost 100, so I know it’s close to being sent to powder coat. I’m probably looking at around another 3 weeks or so before mine gets shipped out, if I’m lucky.

I got my shipping confirmation from SSO on the slimline. I can hardly wait to cut that stupid silver valence off the front bumper.

Mine has been at powder coat since Monday, so should hopefully be a good indicator that mine should be shipping in a week or so.
