Hello all. I just recently purchased a 2010 SR5 . TWO days ago to be exact. I've ALWAYS wanted a 4Runner so I'm glad to be apart of the 4runner family now. The 4runner I bought has about 115k miles on it , which I heard is nothing for these bad boys. Any recommendations on the first thing I should do with it ? In terms of mods and maintenance? The thing runs great btw, but I'm not familiar with Toyotas at all, so I could be wrong. Haha

Hello NJK570, welcome to the Forum! In the past when I have bought used vehicles I always replaced all of my fluids so I have a starting point for future maintenance unless you have service records. I would inspect brakes, drive shafts, shocks etc. in case it was taken off-road.

    Welcome aboard

first things first, make it yours and know her which means check ALL filters and liquids and change them if they don’t seem to be fresh, get the grease gun ready and lube her.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Welcome. Yes he means actually get under there and look for grease fittings on all 4 u joints as well as the slip joints on the drive shafts. This is often over looked. Easy on the slip joints, just a couple of pumps. Do a search for drive shaft lube and you should get some links to posts for the process. Easy to do. Do as ATX14 suggests for a start. As for any modifications, hold onto your wallet! There's tons of things you can do to these already great vehicles to make them your own.
