    Monochrome everything. LED reverse lights.
It read to me like they lifted the front end an inch, basically levelling it.

Are you saying they are lifting the Pro 1" higher than past Pros or that they are lifting the Pro 1"?

A 2020 Pro already has a 1" lift. It's roughly an inch higher in the front than the other trims. The 2021's will likely be the exact same, not 2" higher than the other trims.

That and the markups. Amazing they can get $50K+ on an eleven year old vehicle.

Does the lift on the front of the pros come from a different spring? And if so, why don’t we see more people using that spring as an “upgrade”?

It appears to come from an elevated lower spring perch, similar to a Bilstein 5100.

You think that's bad, you should see what Jeep has been doing with the Wrangler and for how long...

Yeah but... The JL and JT platforms are at least from this decade. They're doing platform updates at least every ten years. With the addition of LED headlights (an expensive upgrade to incorporate, test, and approve) we're likely to see the 5th gen for another 2 or 3 years easily.

Their updates have always just seemed very minor to me, nothing game changing, and a Jeep from 40+ years ago looks nearly identical to a brand new 2020. They've probably changed the dimensions a bit, and of course headlights and taillights, but it's still the same body and grill style. Seems like the one thing you can always count on is that the "new" Wrangler will always look exactly the same as all previous ones.

See, also, Porsche 911 and VW GTI. When you've got an iconic vehicle, you don't mess with it too much.

They look about the same but the overall ride and interior quality is much improved. I can't speak to longevity or reliability, Jeep owner stories vary wildly.

i agree. It seems like a lot on the forum have limited experience in a CJ or YJ. While there is only so much you can do with live axles, the suspension, ride/comfort, and interior of a Jeep has improved tremendously since the YJ. Why would they need to do anything different over the last 15 years if everyone is always crying for a rebirth of an FJ or other companies keep bringing back prior models of their "glory years" of off-roading?

For example: FJ Cruiser, New Ford Bronco, New Land Rover Defender.

BTW, the New Ford Bronco is KICKASS!

I was going to mention it with the Dodge Power Wagon too. I saw a trailblazer on the road yesterday and thought, "It'll be a while until they come back from that one."

Trailblazers were popular with that 5 cylinder engine. I mean not for blazing any trails but they made great drag trucks

Sorry, I can't take newer GM vehicles seriously unless the motor starts with LT or LS

New enough for me. And also used in a 2013 Z06 and ZL1.

    *Sorry, my mistake I think it's 2014

    LT CRATE ENGINES
The Chevy LT crate engine was introduced on the seventh-generation C7 Corvette Stingray and GM’s full-size trucks and SUVs for 2014. Also known as the Gen-V Small-Block, it ushered in the next era of historic engines. Structurally, the Gen-V Small-Block is similar to the Gen-III/-IV engines, including a deep-skirt cylinder block. And when it comes to our latest high-tech horsepower, we offer the 650-horsepower supercharged LT4 from the Corvette Z06 and Camaro ZL1. See how the LT engines compare in horsepower, torque, and other technical specifications.

    5cyl, really?
