    Hey guys, I am new to Toyota and loving my 2019 4Runner TRD Offroad. I came over from Jeep, I owned a 15 JK and a 18 JLU. Both had reliability issues and Toyota gave me a great offer on JLU.     How do you feel your JLU did as compared to your 4Runner? I know the JLU would be better, but how much better? I wheeled with a few Jeep and never really felt left behind.

    I have only been to one Hotspring ORV park in 4Runner. I did go with a buddy of mine in his JLUR. I did everything he did, he just made it look easier. I will have a better opionion after Moab. The biggest difference is the lack of articulation in a near stock 4runner vs jeep. I lifted a wheel much sooner. Another difference is the ease of fitting larger tires on a jeep. 2.5 in lift and 35's fit no issue. The 4runner shines with its its c control and comfort. I am a bit worried about departure angle in Moab as well. We will see, my same buddy is going out there with me as well. Next year the plan is the Rubicon. I hope this answered some questions about the difference.
