Hello just adding in a garage door opener button to the 4R didn’t get Homelink.

so the switch is illuminated and I’d like to tap into the wiper switch illumination power. Can someone ID the wires I need on the wiper switch? Think red and black but can’t confirm.

I usually just use a fuse tap and tap the accessory fuse. You won't get dimming, but it is ignition on power, so it will only light up when key is on.

I'm curious as to why are you using wiper switch illumination pwr?

The garage door switch is illuminated. I figure if I use the wiper switch illumination power then the opener switch would work with the dimmer rather than be constantly on.

    DrewMan and A&P like this.

Can anyone verify the black and red wire on the wiper switch are for illumination?
