    Hello all;

    I’ll admit tires is not something I talk about a lot so I’m pretty ignorant about the topic.

    Looking at our 2016 Limited, my wife and I want to make the stance wider, and I think we’ll eventually need some grippier AT tires.

    What are our options? Wider tires and wheels, or an offset?

    Any and all recommendations are more than welcome

    if you want the poke you’ll see an offset on the rims or wheel spacers.

    I meant need not see.

    but you’ll need a rim with an offset to stick out and give you that “wide stance look”. Or you can go with spacers. However I wouldn’t do spacers myself.

    So get an offset rim instead of a wider tire/wheel combo?

    There’s a lot of variables that go into this. I will elaborate more tomorrow. Someone else might chime in tonight.

    I have run Spidertrax wheel spacers on a number of vehicles for a great many miles.

    Most recently installed on my 2020 Pro. Just follow the instructions, hit your hub with a wire brush before install, and re-torque after 500 miles and you will be good to go.

    No real difference between quality hub centric wheel spacers and offset wheels. If you like your factory wheels, then it is a cheap / easy fix.
